In order to promote cultural exchanges between China and Republic of Korea and to build a communication platform for such exchanges in Changchun, the opening ceremony of "2020 Changchun Korea Week" was successfully held at Xinmin Hotel on December 6, 2020 at 13:30 p.m. Hosted by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Shenyang and the Korea Chamber of Commerce in Changchun, representatives of the Korea Chamber of Commerce, embassy staff and university students in Changchun who major in Korean, took an active part in the event.
The whole event was divided into two parts: "Food Experience" and "China-Korea Cultural Show". In the latter part, 12 Korea-major students from the class of 2018 and the class of 2020 in our college, brought the carefully-prepared solo song "If You", chorus "Little Star" and dance performance "Solo", which received thunderous applause and enthusiastic response.
The event not only stimulated the students' interest in learning Korean, but also improved their understanding of cultural exchanges and communication between China and the Republic of Korea. Even under the severe situation of COVID-19, people of the two countries are tied together and ready to help each other, with the friendship solid and indestructible.
