On the morning of September 17th, 2016, the president of Volgograd State University, Tara Gan Norf, and the Chief of Foreign Affairs, A Ni Shovjenin , visited the College of Foreign Language of Jilin University. Two sides had a talk upon the communication and the cooperation with each other. The president along with his delegation was received warmly by the dean of the College of Foreign Languages, Zhou Yifu. The vice president, Liu Zuoyan, and the head of the department of Russian, Tian Jun as well as other delegation attended the meeting. The two sides respectively introduced their own process on teaching, scientific research and teacher staff cultivation. They also had thorough and intensive communication and discussion on the exchange of students and teachers, joint cultivation of undergraduates and postgraduates, cooperation on scientific researchand joint holding of academic meetings.
Both sides reached consensus in many aspects and decided to move forward quickly on the exchange of students and teachers.
This visit lays a significant foundation for further exchange and cooperation program.
