Northeast Asia has become a focus of attention at home and abroad.The study of the languages and culture of this region will play an important role in promoting cultural exchanges and mutual understanding between regions. In order to further develop the study of Northeast Asian languages and culture, the Leading Group Office of the Construction of Philosophy and Social Science of Jilin Province ratified in 2013 to set up a “Northeast Asian International Languages and Culture Research Base", which has been the first base to get the ratification among the first group of bases in major fields of social science research of Jilin Province.
The base will promote a high level of distinctive scientific research, serve for the regional construction of society, economy and culture, promote international exchange in Northeast Asia in an open and international way. In order to promote the communication of scholars home and abroad in Northeast Asian languages and cultural studies, to explore new issues on local languages and cultural studies, Northeast Asian International Languages and Culture Base, Northeast Asia International Languages and Culture Research Center of Jilin University, College of Foreign Languages of Jilin University will jointly hold “International Symposium ‘Influence and Changes of Languages and Culture’--2016 Northeast Asian International Languages and Culture Base Annual Conference", and we invite you to take the time to visit.

(4) Papers: Please submit the abstract of your paper to the conference mailbox before August 15, 2016 if you want to publish the paper (including title, keywords, abstract of 600-800 words)
(5) Conference Proceedings: excellent papers will be published in the conference proceedings
