Introduction: How should we use the results of Korean language studies? Language is the most basic tool of people’s life. Through language, we seek to understand culture, history, and society. In particular, food is a common concern for all people, so it is important to understand the culture, history, and society of East Asia and the world through food-related language. Is "ketchup" originally from China? Which country do “noodles with soybean paste” which first appeared in Incheon, Korea, “seafood noodles” stemming from Nagasaki, Japan, and “udon noodles” known as Japanese food belong to?
