The grand opening of the 2016 Welcome Party was held on the evening of December 17 in Ding Xin Lecture Hall. Led by College of Foreign Languages, ten colleges (College of Mathematics, Humanities, Software, Electronics, Business, Life Sciences, Chemistry, Foreign Language Education, and Computing) jointly hosted the Welcome Party----“Dynamic Night, Be with You”. The Deputy Director of Graduate Management Division in Jilin University, QinBo, and other college leaders were invited to attend the party.
The welcome party began with a vibrant dance Darling performed by School of Foreign Language Education. The atmosphere were raised to a peak by the dance The aroma of Roses from College of the Humanities, the vigorous song She Will be Loved and the dance What’s this + Bang Bang from College of Foreign Languages. What brought the party to another peak were the humorous talk show performed by College of Electronics and the combined show---The Flavor of the Sword and Calligraphy. Finally, the welcome party ended with the medley from the College of Life Sciences. The party included fifteen brilliant performances, combined with games and lottery draw, which warmed up the relations between performers and the audience.
The entire party had a rich mixture of performances and it was so brilliant that won the continuous applause from the audience. The passionate party showed the unique style of the ten colleges and the aggressiveness of students. What’s more, the co-held party enhanced the communication among colleges and enriched the graduates’ spare time, which gained the positive attention and participation of students. As it were, this party was a complete success, winning highly praise from all the teachers and students.
